Stained Glass of the Shenandoah Valley

Join host D. Lee Beard as he shares a presentation exploring the wide range of stained glass windows from the region, the various symbolism within them, and the evolution of stained glass windows as an art form and as a form of religious expression.  Mr. Beard is the Director of Media Production Services at the Center for Instructional Technology of James Madison University.  Mr. Beard is also the producer and director of the hour-long documentary, “Stained Glass Windows of the Shenandoah Valley”, airing on local public television station WVPT on Oct. 9 at 8pm.  The trailer for the documentary is included below.

This event is free and open to the public.  The presentation will be held in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church.
