The Hunt will be available for your family through January 1st. The hunt will be unavailable when there is significant snow.
Your mission is to locate all of the characters of the Christmas story that you might typically find in a nativity scene. They are located in specific outdoor locations around the campuses of First Presbyterian Church and Market Street Church.
There are a total of six boxes each with a character or set of characters of the nativity. The boxes are each locked with a 4-digit combination padlock. You will receive the combinations for each box as you proceed through the hunt.
The hunt should take about 35 minutes. It can be done all at once or you can find a few characters and come back another day to finish. Keep your handouts to make something at the end with the images.
Make sure to always lock each box by pushing it together while back on the box and THEN scrambling the combination. Put the box back exactly where you found it. We fear that boxes could disappear, but we will be checking on them often to make sure the hunt is ready for your family. If you have any trouble (like a box seems to be missing or a padlock is not opening), email todd@fpcwinc.org or text Todd Bowman. If you can’t find a box where you think it should be, you can go to the link below to find a photo of where the box was originally hidden to make sure you’re looking in the right spot.
Now that you know how it all works, you are ready to start the hunt.
