The Congregational Life Council of First Presbyterian Church nurtures the spiritual, social, and relational life of the congregation. Guided by a commitment to welcome new disciples and strengthen connections among current members, the council seeks to build a caring, supportive church community that serves God within our church family and beyond.
The council supports a wide range of fellowship opportunities designed to help people of all ages build meaningful relationships within the church. Through regular gatherings, meals, and social events, the Congregational Life Council helps foster a strong sense of belonging and shared life in Christ.
Spiritual care for the congregation is led through the ministry of the Deacons in collaboration with the Pastor, providing compassionate support during times of illness, transition, grief, and personal need. Additional care ministries supported by the council include prayer, visitation, meals, bereavement support, and confidential one-to-one care.
The council encourages intergenerational connection through church-wide events and shared experiences that bring together members of all ages and life stages for worship, fellowship, and celebration.
Through hospitality, care, and fellowship, the Congregational Life Council helps strengthen the bonds of Christian community and supports the ongoing growth and vitality of the congregation.
