Worship & Discipleship Council

The Worship & Discipleship Council of First Presbyterian Church nurtures the spiritual life of the congregation through meaningful worship, faith formation, and opportunities for lifelong Christian growth. The council supports ministries that help people of all ages grow in their relationship with God and with one another.

Worship 

The council works in partnership with pastoral staff, musicians, and worship leaders to support meaningful, faithful, and engaging worship experiences. This includes care for the rhythms of the church year, special services, and the many volunteers who help lead our congregation in praise, prayer, and proclamation.

Christian Education & Faith Formation

The Worship & Discipleship Council oversees educational ministries for all ages, including children, youth, and adults. Through Sunday School, small groups, Bible studies, and special programs, the council encourages lifelong learning and spiritual growth rooted in Scripture and discipleship.

Supporting a Life of Faith

Through worship, education, and spiritual formation, the council seeks to help all people grow as disciples of Jesus Christ and to equip the congregation for lives of faith, service, and witness.
